Bulawayo has two good museums in town and two UNESCO World Heritage sites a drive away. All four are pay-at-the-door places — no booking, cash in US dollars. Here is what each costs, when it is open, and how a visit works.

Zimbabwe's national natural history museum — visitors consistently rate it the city's best indoor attraction.
A small, volunteer-run railway museum — Cecil Rhodes's private coach is kept here, and the curator's stories are the highlight.
