A dated list of the town's banks, fuel stations, shops and services, each saying where its listing came from and how old it is. Signed-in residents can say what they saw: open, on short hours, closed for good, or moved. Until residents have reported, the page says nobody has confirmed a place yet.
Botswana's new Employment and Labour Relations Act came into force on 1 September 2026, so the severance page no longer calls it pending; it now says to confirm current terms with the labour office. The mine FAQ now says the liquidation can't close until Premium Nickel Resources makes its final payment, expected by the end of December 2029.
Signed-in residents can say which of six honest, self-reported stages best describes where their own BCL liquidation claim stands right now — haven't filed, filed with no word back, acknowledged, partial payment, full settlement, or disputed — and everyone can see the running tally. This is a self-reported count, not an official record: the board always shows the liquidator's and MDCB's own contact details for anyone who needs an authoritative answer.
The Central District mining town joins the platform with a severance pay estimator built on Botswana's statutory formula, straight answers on BCL's mine closure and what SPEDU has and hasn't built, and a contacts directory.
