The days the town keeps every year — the saltmakers' feast, the Tartini music festival, Municipality Day and the festive season on Tartinijev trg — in the order they come around, with the next one always counting down. Each links to the organiser's own page for the exact programme and hours.
A colored-pencil banner of the terracotta-roofed old town packed onto the tip of the peninsula above the Adriatic, with the bell tower of St George's rising over the rooftops.
Three tools to start. A live sea-level page reads the Adriatic straight from Slovenia's own gauge and shows it against the official warning levels, so when the jugo pushes the sea up you can see how close it is to the waterfront. A parking page compares what Arze, Fornače and Fiesa really cost for how long you're staying, winter rates and all. And a neighbour board lets people in the old town flag which corners are dry, rising or flooded during a high tide. Written in English for now, alongside the Slovene and Italian the town lives in.
