Until now this page worked out whether the Glace Bay Hospital emergency department was open purely from its posted hours. It now checks Nova Scotia Health's live service-statuses board first, so a same-day closure replaces the timetable rather than sitting under it — and it shows the province's own hourly wait estimate for Cape Breton Regional in Sydney, which is where you are sent when Glace Bay is shut.
