Score your flat or house on the official Dutch WWS points system — floor area, energy label, kitchen and bathroom fittings, outdoor space, and the property's WOZ value — and see the highest rent the law allows. Not legal advice; the Huurcommissie's own check and Huurteam Eindhoven's free help are both one tap away.
Fine dust and NO₂, every hour, from TNO's own regional sensor network — including the ultrafine-particle readings behind the recurring argument about the airport's health effect. Compared plainly with WHO's guideline levels, not folded into an invented index.
How many bikes and mopeds are reported stolen in Eindhoven each month and in which districts, read straight from the police register that CBS publishes — 247 in June 2026, up 34% on June 2025, with Centrum accounting for 39% of the last twelve months. The figures update themselves. Underneath is the practical half: the five staffed stallingen on a map with their hours, what to do the day a bike is gone, and the registers to check before buying a second-hand one. The register counts bikes, mopeds and light mopeds together and runs about six weeks behind, and the page says so.
The city files its permit zones as one row per piece of a zone, not one row per zone, and the pieces do not all carry the zone's own numbers. That put Limbeek-Noord at the top of the table as the most oversubscribed zone in the city, on figures belonging to a small fragment of it. The table now reads one row per zone: Limbeek-Noord has 711 spaces and issues up to 889 permits. Of 160 zones, 24 issue permits right up to 1.25 per space and the rest are below it.
Type a street and house number and see which zone it is in, whether you have to pay right now, and what a stay of your length actually costs — including whether the day ticket beats the hourly rate. The zones, hours and tariffs are read live from the national parking register the city files into, so nothing here is copied by hand. Permit zones also show how many spaces they have against how many permits the city will issue.
The weekly markets, the big seasonal happenings like Dutch Design Week and GLOW, and citywide days like Carnival and Koningsdag — in English, each with its own source. Dated events drop off once they've passed.
Eindhoven runs on its bikes, so this shows the next dry stretch to ride from an hourly weather model — with the wind, and the live rain radar linked. It's a grid forecast, not a street measurement, so glance at the sky too.
The town page now opens with a colored-pencil banner of the Evoluon, the Philips flying-saucer pavilion on its concrete pillars, seen across a reflecting pool and a cycle path.
Two tools to start, built with the city's international newcomers in mind: a first-weeks planner for registering, finding a home without getting scammed, health insurance and a stolen bike; and an English 'which bin does it go in?' sorter with Cure's before-07:30 and winter rules.
