Put in your postcode and house number and see when Avalex empties each of your bins, taken straight from Avalex's own calendar. If you live in a flat with shared underground containers, the page says so. You can ask for an email before each collection. Also new: a board where students and young workers report what they really pay for a room.
CBS's own provisional register count for 1 January 2026 confirms 110,089 as the actual figure — the research doc had it as an unconfirmed projection. Up from 103,581 in 2021.
A full review of the town's pages: what was checked, the four things that were wrong and are now fixed, and what is queued next. Waste collection days are the next thing we want to build here.
The town page carried 103,581 residents from 2021. CBS counts 110,089 as of 1 January 2026.
The live bike parking board showed the station's Antoni stalling as 2,400 of 2,400 spaces free. It is registered in the national feed without a working space counter, so it reports nothing and the feed fills the gap with zero — which read as 'completely empty' and made up most of the total on the town page. That row now shows its size and opening hours with no count, and the total only adds up the facilities that genuinely report. The station's two bigger stallingen are not in the feed at all, and the page now says so.
Free spaces right now at six of Delft's guarded bike stallingen — the station's own supervised stalling, Vesteplein, Voldersgracht and both Oude Langendijk facilities — from the operator's own sensors.
How many bikes are reported stolen each month, read live from the police register, plus where to park one safely, community picks from residents and TU Delft students, and today's air and pollen readings.
The bike theft page described Delft station's stallingen as paid parking and called them the largest in the Netherlands. Both were wrong: parking there is free, for up to 14 days, and the three underground stallingen hold about 10,100 bikes between them — one of the largest complexes in the country, but not the largest. The opening hours for the Antoni stalling were wrong on the bike parking page too, and now match the operator's.
Whatever rent you agreed for a room with a shared kitchen or shower, Dutch law sets a ceiling based on the room's points score, not on what rooms cost here. The new page works that score out from the Huurcommissie's own policy book and looks up the matching maximum, then sets out what you can do about it — including the six-month deadline to have a starting rent tested, which cannot be extended, and Huurteam Delft, which the gemeente pays for so it costs tenants nothing.
