Downtown DocFest ended permanently in May 2026 after 14 seasons, and the research still listed it as a March fixture. Corrected, with the Porchfest date for 26 September confirmed.
The page said roughly 15,000 people here are without a family doctor; the estimate published locally is 12,000 to 14,000, so it now says that. The pharmacist-prescribing section names all nine conditions added on 1 July, and the three walk-in clinics now carry their phone numbers and hours.
The bag-tag price was showing as ".50" instead of $3.50, and the holiday-schedule answer pointed at a city news page that no longer exists. Both fixed, along with the yard-waste depot's Wednesday evening hours and the Christmas-tree rules.
Enter the dates and numbers from your notice to check it against Ontario's rules — this year's guideline, the once-every-12-months rule, the 90 days' written notice — and find free local help if something is off.
Active warnings for the Belleville and Bay of Quinte area — winter storms, freezing rain, extreme cold and heat — read straight from Environment Canada, with the wind right now and the numbers for power outages, road conditions and river flooding.
The 2026 fares, where to buy passes — including evenings and weekends at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre and anytime in the BTap app — how paying on board actually works, the Night Route's real times, and the rule that strands people: no service on statutory holidays.
Quinte Conservation's tiered flood messages — Watershed and Shoreline Conditions Statements, Flood Watch, Flood Warning — read live from their notice board, with what each tier asks of you. It sits beside the Moira gauge on the town page: the water, and the authority's call on it.
Belleville joins with three tools grounded in what residents actually ask. 'Moira River Level' reads the Water Survey of Canada gauge at Foxboro live — level and flow — with Quinte Conservation's flood messages explained for freshet season. 'Getting Care Without a Family Doctor' is the honest pathway for the ~15,000 people without one: Health Care Connect, the 28 conditions pharmacists can now treat, Health811, the clinics that still see walk-ins, and the ER. 'Garbage, Recycling & Bag Tags' answers the weekly rules — the .50 tag on every bag, two-stream recycling, and who to call when a pickup is missed.
Ten research notes covering who lives here, the downtown homelessness emergency, the family-doctor shortage, garbage bag tags and transit, spring flooding on the Moira River, and where residents get their news. This groundwork shapes which tools we build first.
The next departures from the downtown terminal, Loyalist College and Quinte Mall, read from Belleville Transit's own real-time feed. Each time says whether it is the bus reporting itself or the printed timetable, and cancelled runs are shown as cancelled instead of quietly disappearing.
